- All content (copy) and photographs / artwork to be supplied in PC format.
- Corporate ID and logos to be supplied preferably in vector format eg. Freehand or Illustrator or as JPEG, TIFF or EPS at 300dpi at actual size.
- Copy to be supplied as a MS Word document.
- Layout guides can be supplied as colour or black and white prints, alternatively they can be sent via email in PDF or JPEG format.
- Fonts supplied must include printer and screen fonts.
- All scans and graphics must be saved in the CMYK colour space before embedding in the PDF file.
- No print labels or registration marks are to be submitted.
- Use only Type 1 fonts. Note that if True Type fonts are used serious problems will be encountered when attempting to embed certain faces in the PDF document.
- All digital files should include crop marks outside the bleed area. Files must be created with auto centre, so that the PDF is exactly centred on the page size.
- EPS files created in Freehand or Illustrator that contain text must first be converted to curves/paths before embedding in the final PDF advertisement.
- In the case of PDF’s, files must be saved as a complete, composite pres optimized PDF file and must contain all the relevant elements, i.e.: fonts, high res scans, logos and EPS graphics embedded in the file.
- Bleed should be set to a minimum of 3mm all around.
- Tint areas of no less than 10%.
- Solid black areas MUST have 50% cyan behind the black.
